CityDump Records is a small recording studio in the heart of Indianapolis Indiana. It’s Owner/Engineer ICON has been recording for over 6 years and is a self taught engineer.

CityDump Records was created to represent the inner city and how it inspires, molds, and creates artists. Starting over 6 years ago with two mattresses and a blanket the recording studio has grown into a fully designed and treated acoustical space designed by Indianapolis’s own worldwide acoustical engineer Jeff Hedback fromHdA.

It has grown to record over 50 local artists and has done multiple collaborations with out of state recording studios in all genres from hip/hop and R&B to Christian.

With rates as low as 20$ and HR and optional mixing/mastering services CityDump Records has become one of the most affordable recording studio’s in the city and prides itself as an underground hub for local artists.

Music is about more than notes, money, or equipment. Music is about creativity, inspiration, imagination and just having fun!
